About the Hosts
Melañio Gomez
With a background in art and design, Melañio’s career began in New York City, working with packaging and graphic design firms before transitioning into interiors styling. Freelance projects included collaborations with Estee Lauder, Tiffany & Co., Ralph Lauren, The Limited, Old Navy, and The Gap, spanning roles in art direction, styling, and video production.
As a co-founder of the multi-disciplinary design firm Top Spin, his work ranged from industrial and graphic design to product development for clients such as Crate & Barrel, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, The Met, and SFMOMA. After Top Spin, he expanded into event design and home renovation.
An eight-year tenure at Martha Stewart Living included roles as Style Editor and later, Editorial Director of Home—overseeing content, product development, photoshoots, and a SiriusXM radio program. After relocating to Brussels, he worked as an editor-at-large for The Bulletin and restored a 17th-century Flemish bookstore into a home.
Now based in New York City, Melañio continues to freelance as an interiors stylist and set designer for editorial and commercial projects in the U.S. and abroad. In 2021, he was featured as part of the Season 3 cast of NBC’s Making It. Recent collaborations include a curated collection with Perigold by Wayfair, offering holiday hosting and decorating insights.
Marcie McGoldrick
With a background in industrial design and a career as a crafts editor and producer, Marcie McGoldrick has always been drawn to handmade artistry. Fascinated by how objects are constructed, she studied industrial design at Pratt Institute before spending over 15 years at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.
Since 2016, Marcie has worked as an independent designer, creating jewelry and tableware that blend traditional forms with modern finishes. Inspired by historical techniques, she tints clay for to create rich surfaces and polishes each piece for a smooth, tactile feel.
